Your Local Community Action Agency
Kno-Ho-Co-Ashland typically serves over 10,000 families annually. We've had the distinct honor of receiving six "Best Practices" awards from the Ohio State University's John Glenn Institute of Public Service and Public Policy. We've also received local, regional and were named the national award winner of Head Start's "Award of Excellence in Promoting Health Practices". Kno-Ho-Co-Ashland has been recognized as "Property Management Company of the Year". While these awards are a testament to our commitment, the real test of success has been in the lives that we've changed. From comprehensive pre-school education to a three year old to delivering a homebound senior citizen a daily hot meal, from saving a homeless individual from sleeping another night on the street to providing them with safe, decent, affordable housing.
