Emergency Shelter

About the Emergency Shelter Program

The Kno-Ho-Co-Ashland Emergency Shelter Program provides temporary housing to those individuals or families which find themselves in a homeless situation. Kno-Ho-Co-Ashland operates various scattered site shelters providing apartment accommodations for a home-like atmosphere. Families are able to remain together during this period. If shelters are full or unavailable in a certain area, motel accommodations can be arranged.   The Emergency Shelter staff work with the individuals and families providing case management to assist clients on the road to self-sufficiency.

Goal is to alleviate the plague of homelessness by providing shelter and supportive services so clients can acquire decent, safe, and affordable housing.
