About the Homelessness Crisis Response Program

The Homelessness Crisis Response Program (HCRP) is a federally funded program enacted to help persons affected by the current economic crisis. The HCRP program strives to prevent homelessness for low-income individuals by providing coordinated intake, rapid re-housing services and assistance which will promote homeless persons to move from shelter to safe housing as quickly as possible in Coshocton and Knox Counties. Homeless diversion/prevention activities will be carried out under specified circumstances in Holmes County to allow eligible families to remain safely housed in their current homes.

Populations Served

Homeless or at-risk individuals or families with a household income at or below 30% of average median income (AMI).

Income Guidelines

30% of the current area median income (30% AMI).

Services Provided

Eligible participants may receive short term financial assistance, housing relocation and stabilization services, and/or ongoing case management in order to reach housing stability.
